About Us
We're AKC Miniature Schnauzer dog breeders from Long Island New York on a journey to share the joy of living alongside these amazing pets. We've been living with Miniature Schnauzers for over 15 years, and recently embarked on the mission to share the joy of living alongside your own Miniature Schnauzer puppy.
All of our Miniature Schnauzers for sale come from breeding dogs that are Embark DNA tested, come from different programs to prevent inbreeding, and get OFA tested annually for heart murmurs and eye cataracts.
All of our Miniature Schnauzer puppies for sale come all natural with long tails and floppy ears. Each puppy is generally $4000 plus tax. We offer a $500 discount for early sign-ups, and another $500 discount for early payments. All Miniature Schnauzer puppies for sale are dewormed, get their first round of vaccines, are microchipped, go through various training and socialization programs, and are AKC Platinum registered prior to going to their new homes.
Our goal is simple, and more than selling dogs. We strive to complete the missing piece to your happy family by giving you your own Miniature Schnauzer puppy to forge everlasting memories with. Our Schnauzy Process
We try to make things as simple and transparent as possible, giving you the reassurance that you are talking with a family first and a Miniature Schnauzer dog breeder second. We encourage you to check our ethics page, where we go in detail about our family, how we take care of our Miniature Schnauzers, and how we continuously support our puppies once they found their furever homes.
We admit, we are biased when we say that Miniature Schnauzers are the best, but we also believe that the best should only deserve the best, so we like to take the extra mile to ensure that our puppies are receiving the TLC that they deserve. That's why our process starts with our Application Form, where we get a chance to briefly know you. Once you fill out our form, someone will reach out soon to get to know each other better.
After our quick introduction, we generally invite you to meet the family either through Zoom or in person (our Miniature Schnauzers love going on walks and making new friends along the way). From our Meet & Greet we will answer any question you might have and give you a chance to see if being part of the Schnauzy Pawz family is right for you! If everything is in the clear we will add you to our waitlist and notify you when we have our next expected litter.
No deposit is necessary to join the General waitlist. However, we offer potential buyers the chance to reserve their spot in line by leaving a refundable $300 deposit to join our Pre-Reservation List. The deposit is 100% refundable until one week before the puppy is born. Our puppies generally cost $4000 plus tax, but we offer discounts to people who join our Pre-Reservation List and for buyers that are committed to getting a Schnauzy Pawz puppy and pay before the puppies are assigned.
Our Program
Here is a quick glimpse of what our miniature schnauzer puppies for sale consists of:
Week 1-2: Momma sets up camp in her "den" and is separated from the rest of the pack to reduce anxiety to the mom and stress to the puppies. Puppies undergo Early Neurological Stimulation Training from Day 3 to Day 16. Dens are decorated with buyer's clothing for early scent introduction.
Week 3: Puppies transition to bigger den, begin socialization, early potty training, noise training. They get their first vet visit for deworming, and are introduced to future owners.
Week 4: Puppies are assigned to owners. Socialization continues, with exposure to different noises, smells, animals, people. Basic Command Training Begins
Week 7: Puppies go to vet for 2nd deworming, first round of vaccines, and microchipping. Fecal sample gets sent for testing.
Week 8: Pending a clear fecal test result, puppies go to their assigned furever homes
We accept the $300 deposit through a variety of payment methods. Fill out an Interest Form now!
Deposits are 100% refundable up until the first week before the expected birthdate.
Deposits will only be refunded after the birthdate if the litter size doesn't meet the demand.
Deposits for already born Miniature Schnauzer puppies are non-refundable.
